The musical "Trollsommar"
Trollsommar is an original family musical set in the heart of Nordingrå, on Sweden’s spectacular High Coast. Warm, humorous and full of music, the story brings together local life, folklore, nature and the power of community.
Performed outdoors at Nordingrå Heritage Centre, Trollsommar invited audiences of all ages into a world where trolls, village conflicts and the forces of nature took centre stage. Through music, storytelling and live performance, the production celebrated the place it was created for – and the people who brought it to life.
As High Coast Entertainment’s largest production of the summer, Trollsommar was created in collaboration with local partners, performers and the community. It reflects our ambition to create memorable cultural experiences where music, storytelling and people come together.
The musical was presented at Nordingrå Heritage Centre in July 2026 and was described locally as a new, warm and humorous family musical about life in Nordingrå, with themese of courage and community.
